Positive: Lovely secluded cottage with access to the river that we spent some time every day paddling in and exploring. The children enjoyed hunting for bits of pottery, and tadpoles, we even found freshwater mussles. Mature trees all around, birdsong all day. Great garden for outdoor games. Welcoming hosts. (Lovely rhubarb). Plenty of attractions within an hour drive. It was nice having pictures of the history of the Mill.

Negative: Kids wanted better wifi but only a minor niggle as we were outside a lot (I wanted screen free time so didn't worry me)
